Description
Founded in 1734, Taittinger is one of the oldest champagne houses in France. The Comtes de Champagne is their flagship cuvée, known for its elegance and finesse.
The 2008 vintage of Comtes de Champagne Taittinger is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes from the best vineyards in Champagne. This wine has a pale gold color and delicate bubbles that dance on the palate.
Aromas of white flowers, citrus fruits, and toasted brioche greet the nose, while flavors of lemon curd, pear, and almond unfold on the palate. The finish is long and refreshing, with a subtle mineral note that lingers.
