Description
Located in the Pessac-Leognan appellation of Bordeaux, Chateau Pape Clement is one of the oldest Grands Crus in the region. The vineyard dates back to the 13th century and was renowned by Pope Clement V, hence the name.
The Pape Clement Pessac Leognan 1994 is a beautifully aged red wine with a garnet hue. This Bordeaux blend is complex and elegant, with aromas of black currants, leather, and earth. On the palate, it offers flavors of dark fruits, tobacco, and spice, with well-integrated tannins and a long, persistent finish.
