The 1990 vintage of Léoville Las Cases is a classic Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. This wine displays a deep garnet color with aromas of black fruits, cedar, and tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied with velvety tannins and flavors of cassis, black cherry, and earth. The wine has a long, elegant finish with lingering notes of spice and leather. Drinking beautifully now, but can also be aged further for additional complexity.
