Grands Crus
A grand cru is an expression used to designate a product of superior quality. It can be informal, or framed by legislation in certain cases, such as that of 1855 in France.
This term is used in particular to designate a wine from a particularly recognized vineyard. The prestige associated with it entails the use for other products such as chocolate, tea, coffee or even cheese.
